An a cappella close harmony choir - based in Shaftesbury, Dorset, UK
With its roots firmly in jazz standards, Palida explores a wide range of musical styles, from contemporary classical through to madrigals and folk.
Led by Karen Wimhurst and based in Shaftesbury, this choir offers a challenging and stimulating experience for singers. Palida performs regularly in a range of local concert venues as well as the occasional theatre production.
Our Virtual Choir Videos
During the 2020/21 Covid-19 Lockdown choir members have been meeting on Zoom to learn songs. Working alone and sometimes in small groups (while respecting pandemic restrictions) we have been able to create 4 virtual choir videos - one for each season.
